Renzidong Site, the Origin of Humankind

The Renzidong Site is the earliest known human cultural site in Eurasia, pushing back the history of humans in Asia by hundreds of thousands of years and providing important evidence for the view that Asia was one of the early origins of humans. The site was first discovered in May 1998 and was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Site by the State Council in May 2006.
